2012 Vendée (Domaine de la Barbinière ) Silex Loire
In the south-western edge of the Loire Valley, with the cooling influence of the Atlantic ocean, young Vincent
Orion makes this aromatic white from “Silex” soils. Extensive work with the lees, brings out the vivid
perfume of the 60% Chenin, while the 40% Chardonnay lends texture. This is all about citrus scents and flavors well balanced, crisp with lovely lemon and apple aromas.

2012 Principauté d’Orange White Carignan (Domaine le Renard) Southern Rhone
The town of Orange, at the very southern end of the Rhone Valley in southern France. lies just north of the junction between the eastern Languedoc and Provence, this bio estate raised a very impressive wine, from low yield 30 year old white Carignan vines, vinified at low temperatures in tank.,the wine has very nice, lemon scents, pure fruit with subtle fennel notes in the nose.
